В статье представлен анализ произведенной Норберто Боббио интерпретации теории гражданского общества А. Грамши, разработанной тем в знаменитых «Тюремных тетрадях». Автором исследована проблема политической деятельности интеллектуалов как протагонистов гражданского общества в теориях Грамши и Боббио.

Over a period of more than half a century since the publication of Antonio Gramsci's Prison Notebooks, his hegemony doctrine and civil society concept, laying in its basis, are attracting attention not only of scientists and politicians, but especially of intellectuals. This concept remains relevant to contemporary intellectual elite of the Old World and, of course, of Russia. The central topic of my article is the Norberto Bobbio’s analysis and interpretation of gramscian theory of civil society elaborated in the famous «Prison Notebooks». Also I have investigated the problem of intellectuals as main protagonists of civil society in the both theories. Bobbio underlines that “civil society in Gramsci does not belong to the structural moment, but to the superstructural one”, and insists on active force of so called civil society’s hegemony. After analysis of the distinctions between the theory of Marx, revolutionary-theoretical reflections of Lenin, — and the conception of hegemony, — Bobbio makes the conclusion Gramsci’s theory and his political doctrine connected with it, are they own importance in themselves. In my article, I show Bobbio nor excludes gramscian theory out of Marxian tradition, but demonstrates it as the creative continuation of Marxism-Leninism and application to the contemporary society.
